Now We Are Five

This month, RfM Transform is celebrating its fifth anniversary. Back in September 2016, with Portugal fresh from a victory in the Euros, and Ukrainian singer Jamala still celebrating her Eurovision win, RfM Business Consulting was launched!


After working for many years as a consultant, Tony Backhouse created RfM Business Consulting. With over 30 years’ experience in developing and implementing strategic plans, managing change and building innovation programmes for large public sectors organisations through to smaller, owner-managed businesses, Tony wanted to focus his attention on SMEs. 

Tony's plan was to provide smaller businesses with expert advice and strategic guidance to help then unlock their full potential. Tony wanted to give SME’s the tools they needed to really succeed even during the toughest times.

Five years and a name change later - RfM Business Consulting became RfM Transform in January 2021 – and Tony now leads a team of Senior Advisors working across R&D, HR and Digital which has helped numerous small businesses grow and thrive.

It’s been a challenging 5 years for many businesses, but Tony’s success in growing RfM Transform and in helping other businesses to flourish is something to celebrate.
